We had been anxiously awaiting this 'My World Winston' foal and we could not be more pleased. She is fire ball red with heavy bone and near perfect conformation. She is tiny yet stocky with an awesome presence about her.
Baptism by fire will purify the things in you that need to be purged. We loved the meaning of the phrase and this is the perfect little jennet to bestow this name upon.
We really want to keep this jennet but are willing to make the sacrifice to reduce our herd to a more manageable number and to be able to replace our old roof that is long overdue for a new one. We will discount her price if you purchase her with one or more of our donkeys or if you have previously purchased donkeys from us. We also will be glad to work with you on a payment plan....just ask!

Everybody knows the aesthetic benefits of high heel stilettos but red stilettos are the best of all! How could we name this awesome girl anything other than Stiletto?? She has everything any breeder would ever look for. A tiny head with big bedroom eyes on top of a well balanced frame plus the personality of a 'kitten with a whip!" Therefore, her barn name is Kitty. She is sassy, classy and she thinks she is all that. This girl demands attention and makes you think it was all your idea.
This one time we are regretfully offering our very best jennet foal for sale for some lucky breeder to add her genetics to the gene pool of their breeding program. If we did not need to cut back on our numbers and also need a long overdue new roof on our home she would never be offered for sale. You should come experience her in person. She will use her kitten heels to mark your heart!
We will discount her price if you purchase her with one or more of our donkeys or if you have previously purchased donkeys from us. We also will be glad to work with you on a payment plan....just ask!
Click MDR sticker to see Star Struck Annie's complete pedigree!
Annie has show quality conformation...very square, correct
and heavy boned. Photos and videos were taken on August 24th, 2010, with the help of my great friends, Dena Wilson, Marie and Katie Randall. Thank you! Without your help these photos would not have been possible. We are so pleased with them.
I would not be offering Star Struck Annie for sale except that we have been unsuccesful in finding a red herd sire to bred to our Firefly daughters. So we are now offering some of our Firefly daughters for your consideration. Star Struck Annie is up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile, hoof trimmings, de-wormings, etc. She is very friendly and easy to catch and handle. Annie is open. She has never been exposed to a jack as we now wait until our jennets are close to four years of age to bred them. We will discount her price if you purchase her with one or more of our donkeys or if you have previously purchased donkeys from us. We also will be glad to work with you on a payment plan....just ask!

Click MDR sticker to see Summer's complete pedigree!
Summer is an absolutely wonderful jennet in every way: color, size and disposition.
We are offering her for sale only because we have been unable to find a suitable unrelated red jack to bred her too. We are not going to cross her with Firefly as they are half brother and sister. Summer is up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile. She is open as this was her resting year. She is easy to settle in foal, catch, handle, etc. This is a very special jennet! It is difficult to find a dark red jennet that is as small as Summer. She is also a wondeful mom and an easy foaler. We will discount her price if you purchase her with one or more of our donkeys or if you have previously purchased donkeys from us. We also will be glad to work with you on a payment plan....just ask!
Click MDR sticker to see Autumn's complete pedigree!
Autumn is a very drafy, well built jennet. She is another daughter of our herd sire, Peppercorn Jack, and Sunset Acres Tilly. She has a sweet disposition, shows lots of bone and is very wide in the chest and rear just like her sire and dam. Autumn's last foal is a dark jennet foaled on 3/24/10, Pocketful of Poseys. Autumn is up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile and Botulism. Autumn has been DNA typed at Texas A&M University. She is also up to date on de-wormings and hoof trims. We are offering her for sale to lighten our work load during foaling season and because we have retained so many of our foals over the past couple of years. We need to keep our numbers down to be able to provide our donkeys with the attention that they so crave. We rarely offer a Peppercorn daughter for sale. Here is your chance to own one and she is guaranteed safe in foal!
Autumn has been bred to Windcrest Firefly for her next foal due on March 16th, 2012. She is guaranteed safe in foal! We will be removing Autumn from our for sale page at the end of January because we will not ship a donkey that is within 30 days of foaling. You should hurry if you want her!
Autumn is now under the barn cam in the second stall and outside paddock (with Junebug) and can be viewed by clicking this link.

Click MDR sticker to see Cee Cee's complete pedigree!
Cee Cee is about as sweet as they come. She is an easy foaler and a great mom. Cee Cee has been bred to our junior herd sire, Jealous Much, for a foal due October 7th of 2012. She is selling as exposed but not guaranteed as it is to early to test her for pregnancy and the jack we have bred her to is young and this would be his first offspring. We are not sure he is mature enough to be settling jennets in foal at this young age. She has passed several heat cycles without coming back in season though so I am thinking that she is in foal. Cee Cee is up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile, hoof trimming and de-wormings and she has a negative coggins report dated 11/10/11. I am only offering Cee Cee for sale to get our herd down to a more manageable number. If you are just starting out in donkeys Cee Cee would be ideal for you. She is easy to catch and handle. I just don't have anything negative to say about sweet little Cee Cee. We will discount her price if you purchase two or more of our donkeys. We will gladly let you make payments...just ask!

Glorianna has had so many wonderful foals for us and this little girl is another one we simply love. She is a very dark brown little one with no light points and she has the cutest personality. She was making squeaking sounds while she was being born and has never stopped. When we call her or she see us coming she almost sounds like a little baby pig squeaking. Be sure to watch her video on YouTube and you will see and hear what I mean.
Tyger is very petite and small in statue. She has the best of her sire's and dam's attributes and wears her progeny well. We feel she will remain small.
This little gal was named by Joe. He does not get to name many of our foals since I am always picking out names. We decided he would name her and he immediately named her Paper Tyger. Tyger is so full of personality and adds so much excitement to our mom and baby pasture. She is always running around sticking her nose into everything and making the cutest little sounds. She walks and talks, she runs and talks, and she stands while you pet her and talks. What a unique little girl. No she is not a pig, she only makes piglet sounds. LOL
Above photos taken on June 16th, 2011. Dena and I would like to give a big THANKS to Theresa Puckett for helping us during this photo shoot. Her assistance was invaluable!
We really hate to part with Paper Tyger, as well, but we must reduce our numbers before the new donkeys we purchased arrive and my husband has a heart attack! LOL!!
Tyger is up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile, de-worming, and hoof trims. She has a negative coggins report dated 11/10/11. Tyger is going to remain a very small donkey when she matures.
THE LEGEND OF THE DONKEY’S CROSS
Joseph
purchased a small donkey several months before the trip to Bethlehem so Mary could become
accustomed to the animal. A great bond grew between the pair as Mary took care of the donkey
and nightly covered him with her robe. However, at the start of the trip the donkey picked
up a thorn in one of his front hooves which caused him to go lame. Every step was painful,
but he knew how important it was for him to carry Mary carefully. With great patience and
will power the donkey struggled along the trail carefully, being sure not to limp for fear
it would make Mary uncomfortable. So careful he was that neither Mary nor Joseph knew the
donkey was in great pain. Finally the trip ended in Bethlehem. The little donkey was able
to lie down and sleep in the hay, covered with Mary's robe. Later that night an angel came
and lifted the robe from his back and said "Among the beasts thou alone always shall
be blessed, for in another's time of need you bore your cross of pain in silence, and all
men shall know you for the greatness of your heart. Your children and your children's children
forever more shall bear your mark of honor among the beasts." When Mary's robe
was removed from the donkey the next morning, she and Joseph saw something that had never
been seen there before: A cross on his back. And every small donkey has since
borne the cross on his back as a reward for his work and faithfulness.
Hug
Your Donkey
When your
day seems out of balance and so many things go wrong, when people
fight around you and the day drags on so long, when parents act
like children, and in-laws drive you bonkey, go out in your pasture
and wrap your arms around your donkey.
His gentle breath enfolds you and he watches with those eyes. He may
not have a PhD, but he is oh, so wise! His head rests on your shoulder.
You embrace him oh so tight. He puts your world in balance, and makes
it seem all right.
Your tears will soon stop flowing. The tension is now eased. The garbage
has been lifted, and you're quiet and at peace. So when you need the
balance from circumstances in your day, the best therapy that you can
seek is out there eating hay!!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We have had major computer problems more than once. We lost most of our emails. If you emailed us and have not heard back please resend your email. We apologize for any inconvienience this may have caused. We will no longer promise a donkey to any one without a deposit. Even without lost emails it is too confusing and too complicated for someone my age to remember who wants which donkey. If you want me to seriously offer you first refusal on any of our donkeys I am going to require a non-refundable $100 deposit that can be applied to any donkey you purchase from us in the future.
