Be the first to reserve your donkey as they sell fast! Discounts given when purchasing more than one donkey.  Donkeys are much happier when paired up!! All of our donkeys come with registration certificates, a current negative coggins report, a health certificate if sold out of state, complete health records, a hard cover book including all records and 8 x 10 color photographs, small left and right photos for registration transfer if needed, a cd with all high resolution photos and videos taken of your donkey and a brand new halter and lead rope. We do offer significant discounts on package deals or if you have previously purchased a donkey from us!!

We must reduce our numbers to a more manageable number so sadly we are offering for sale a few bred jennets and some of our 2008 foals that we had intended to keep. We are getting up there in age and we can handle just so many hooves to keep up without doing permanent damage to our backs. We have our herd down to our very, very favorite donkeys and it has been a very difficult decision to decide who we can bear to part with. We retained six of our 2008 foals this year so we must move some of our other donkeys to make room for the new additions. As always we will discount multiple purchases.

The delicate color of champagne and the sweetness of homemade jam all wrapped up in this precious sorrel spotted jennet. She is simply beautiful displaying her blanket of soft pink as she makes herself so available to us as we enter her paddock. She runs to greet us every time she see us and rubs against us showing how much she enjoys being with people. We have to be very careful when we leave her paddock as she would walk right on out with us. Jammy is truly a people/lap donkey.

Here we are with every kind of technology in our home and barn to help us watch for our jennets when they go in to labor. But this little one picked a very unusual time to be born….6:00 p.m. and we were not on watch at that time. We had just finished having a 2 day donkey clinic at our farm and were worn out! Imagine our surprise when we went to check the foaling monitor and found this beautiful spotted jennet still wet and just barely up on her feet for the first time. A real “toast” is due to Windcrest Tangerine Twist and Ass-pirin Acres Spectacular for a job well done with their little girl. There is not a sweeter jennet in the world than her dam, Tangerine, and Jammy has certainly inherited tons of sweetness from her mom….and wants to share it all!

Yes, we have thought long and hard about keeping her but after much discussion have decided to offer her for sale. Miranda started her show career in Canada, winning Champion Jennet at the 2002 Breeder's Sweepstakes She also won her class and then stood Reserve Grand Champion Jennet at the 2003 International Livestock Exposition.  She was shown to these great wins by Tom Cochran of Big Woods Farm. Miranda has dramatic leg garters and is a gorgeous and unusual shade of red. She is a nice out cross to our breeding program and we are proud to add her to our herd. Miranda has been bred to Firefly for a May 5th, 2009, foal. Miranda is very strking with her dramatic leg garters. I don't believe I have ever seen a donkey with quite this many. She is a complete sweetheart. Easy to catch and handle. She is up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile, de-worming and hooves.

Sunshine has been hand bred to Peppercorn Jack for an April 6th, 2009 foal. Oh how it is breaking my heart to offer Sunshine for sale but I can't justify keeping her when we have her daughter, Kewpie Doll, and her grand daughter, Goochie Goo, in our herd. She is over due for a jennet foal and I just know since I am offering her for sale that she is bound to be carrying another Kewpie Doll in her belly! Sunshine is a wonderful mom and a very easy keeper. She is up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile, de-worming and hooves. Sunshine tested positive for pregnancy on 11/13/08 by a Wee Foal Urine Test.

When your day seems out of balance and so many things go wrong, when people fight around you and the day drags on so long, when parents act like children, and in-laws drive you bonkey, go out in your pasture and wrap your arms around your donkey.

His gentle breath enfolds you and he watches with those eyes. He may not have a PhD, but he is oh, so wise! His head rests on your shoulder. You embrace him oh so tight. He puts your world in balance, and makes it seem all right.

Your tears will soon stop flowing. The tension is now eased. The garbage has been lifted, and you're quiet and at peace. So when you need the balance from circumstances in your day, the best therapy that you can seek is out there eating hay!!
