Doll is Paper Tyger's first foal and her sire, brick's, first jennet. Paper Tyger just spit herself out and reproduced a foal that looks exactly like herself and has the same adorable personality. She appears to be a very dark brown jennet but we cannot see a cross so she will probably clip off to be a near black jennet just like her mom when she is mature. I do not see one single thing I do not like about this little girl. She will mature closer to her sire's height than her dam's. She is square, straight and balanced and has a perfect bite. She will make a wonderful show donkey, that can retire to the breeding pen when she is mature, or just be a beautiful pet. Named by my former co-worker, Juanita Phariss. Thanks for the neat name Juanita!

Doll will be up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile and Rabies before she is weaned. She comes with many, many extras. Payments are welcome until she is weaned between 5 to 6 months of age. Her price will be reduced if you purchase more than one donkey or if you have previously purchased from us. Come visit her her person as these photos and videos just do not do her justice.

Dark spot with a wide blaze and a bull's eye star on her forehead. Two dark eyes with dark eyeliner all around both eyes. Four dark legs with one back white pastern. She has a dark band across her nose that makes her look like she is wearing a halter. She has deep halos around every single one of her spots. One of the most unusual spots we have ever seen. Photos above taken on September 12th, 2010, with the help of my great friends, Maria and Katie Randall!

We allowed Flirt to rest through 2014 and she was pasture exposed to bruise from March 28th, 2015, thru May 2oth, 2015, for a 2016 foal due on April 15th, 2016, the last time we observed her in season. She must be sold and in her new home at least two months before her due date (February 15th, 2016). This will allow her to build up immunites at her new home so as not to put her unborn foal at risk. If not sold by then we will remove her from our 'for sale' list for the safety of her foal and we will then offer Flirt and her foal for sale separately at a higher price.

Update!! Flirt foaled a gorgeous dark spotted jennet for her new owner on 5/17/16!!

Knotty was sold as a weanling and we just recently purchased her back from her owners who were having health problems. We are delighted to have another Pepper daughter in our herd. Knotty foaled a dark spotted girl on 8/10/14, HHAA Much Adieu, who now resides in Colombia, South America. Photos above of Knotty were taken on August 12th, 2014, two days after foaling, Addie.

Knotty was allowed to rest in 2015, but we will expose her to our jack if you so desire. We will also discount her price if you purchase her with another one of our donkeys. She is up to date on all vaccinations including West Nile and Rabies. She has a negative coggins report dated 8/11/15.

Click MDR sign for Miniature Donkey Registry Pedigree Autumn's pedigree!

Autumn is a very drafty, well built jennet. She is another daughter sired by our former herd sire, Peppercorn Jack, and out of dark spotted Sunset Acres Tilly. She has a sweet disposition, shows lots of bone and is very wide in the chest and rear just like her sire and dam. Autumn was sold and later bred to our former herd sire, Jealous Much. We loved the spotted foal this combination produced so well that we purchased mom and foal back as soon as he was born. Her foal is now our future show gelding. We are now offering Autumn for sale once again as we have a serious family illness that will require many back and forth doctor visits so we must reduce our work load. She is up to date on all vaccinations including west nile and rabies. She has freshly trimmed hooves and has been dewormed regularly. She has a negative coggins report dated 6/01/15. Autumn has been exposed to our former 28" dark spotted herdsire, brick. This will be one of brick's very last foals born in the United States as brick has been sold out of the country. Our vet confirmed that she was definately in foal by exterior ultrasound on 8/11/15!! Her foal will be due on 4/21/16.

Update!! Autumn foaled a gorgeous dark spotted jennet for her new owners on 3/29/16!

Autumn is the dam of the following foals:

1) KKR Audi's Fortune, 4/28/07, black jennet;
2) KKR Candlelite, 8/27/08, dark brown jennet;
3( KKR Pocketful of Poseys, 3/24/10, dark brown jennet.

5( HHAA Much a Man, 6/24/14, dark spotted jack.

We had long ago sold all of our taller jennets and I needed one to possibly one day produce a foal tall enough to be my next performance gelding. So here she is...Sara Carter. She is sired by the Champion and Champion Producing jack, Willow Creek Luigi. Luigi has been retired and gelded so there will be no more foals produced by him in the future.

The few spots that Sara has are either black or dark brown. She is about as sweet as they come. Thank you to my friend and fellow American Donkey Association member, Dennis Vonderfecht, at Appalachian Farmstead for allowing Sara to come live at Half Ass Acres.

Sara was pasture exposed to Black 'n' Blue for a foal due in 2015. The last time we observed her in season was on June 21st, 2014. She has been confirmed safe in foal by exterior ultrasound by our vet. This will be her first foal. Sara started 'bagging up' on 6/11/15.

Judith Ann just arrived all the way from Oregon with her best friend, Mon Cheri. We are thrilled to be adding Judith Ann to our herd. We needed to add more spotted girls for bruise and she was bred to him when she matured. You can see in her video what a beautiful mover she is.

Judith Ann was shown one time when owned by Eola Hills and was 2nd place in halter at the 2011 Oregon NMDA Mule & Donkey Show.

Judith Ann was bred to Black 'n' Blue (bruise) for a foal due May 3rd, 2015. She has been confirmed safe in foal by exterior ultrasound by our vet. This will be her first foal. Judith Ann started 'bagging up' on 4/15/15. She should foal in approx. 4 to 6 weeks. Update! Judith Ann foaled a dark jennet with a star on 5/15/15, exactly one month from the day she started bagging up.

Judith Ann is the dam of one foal:

1) HHAA Incognito (Nito), 5/15/2015, dark jennet with star.

A big thank you to my friend, Kelly Dehnel, at Olympic Minature Donkeys in Wausau, Wisconsin for coming up with a great name for this little girl. Since it looked like the stork was confused and delivered Star Struck's foal to Judith Ann and as Kelly says, "have her barn name be Nito because she is oh, so Neat O!!

Of course she was born when I was on the way home from a doctor's appointment but Joe delivered her with no problems and I arrived home about five mintues after her birth. (So sorry but there will not be a birth video.) Judith Ann being a first time mom took awhile to accept her newborn but it wasn't long before she loved her like she should.

What a little doll Annie and Bruise have produced. She isn't the tall, rangy spotted gelding I was looking for but I am not complaining. This little girl is so much better.

To keep these best friends together we will reduce their price to $3000 for the pair. Just as I thought...your 24th wedding anniversay gift is 'donkey' afterall and here she is. Angel Dust is very best friends with Sunny G's Pebbles who was being shipped here all the way from Iowa for my great friend, Andy Hearn, at Poplar Grove Stud in Australia. I could not stand the thought of her traveling alone so I talked my husband into letting me purchase her best friend. Joe says I can never have another present again as long as I live but we all know we have heard our husband's say that before! A big 'thank you!' to Carmen & Dorie Gruetzmacher at Sunny G Acres for allowing Dustie to leave with her friend in a twinkling of an eye since this was a last minute decision.

Sweet Pea is such a gorgeous girl and one of our nicest jennets. She has a beautiful, tiny, wide head with extra long ears. Her name fits her personality as she is one of the sweetest jennets you will ever meet. The photos and videos were taken on September 19th, 2014, straight out of the pasture. Her coat is unclipped and has been faded by our hot summer sun.

Update! Sweet Pea foaled a black jack with a large star on 4/22/16!

Sweet Pea is the dam of the following foals:

1) Wit's End Hello Poppy, 10/24/07, Dark Brown Jennet;
2) HHAA Sweet Spotz, 3/18/09, Black & White Spotted Jack; sold overseas for $15,000 by his new owners;
3) HHAA Sweet Punch, 4/23/11, Black w/Cross Jennet w/intermediate points;

Boy is Brickman ever tiny. Dark eyeliner all the way around both eyes too. We love the character of the little boy, Brick, in the situation comedy 'The Middle' and we wanted to name a donkey after  him. ***hanging my head and repeating in a whisper....... 'after him'*** Thank you to Dena Wilson for handling Brickman during his photo shoot.

Brick attended his very first show in April of 2011, and placed 1st in a very large foal class (8 entries) at the Mule Day Mini Mania Show in Columbia, Tennessee.

Brick attended his second show August of 2011, and placed 1st in an even larger weanling/yearling jacks to halter class (9 entries) against very stiff competion in Lebanan, Tennessee. Brick has defeated his stablemate, Jealous Much, every time he has shown against him. But don't tell Much.. We are so very proud of Brick.

2011 Tennessee Donkey ASSociation's High Poiint Halter Jack & Reserve High Point In-Hand Jack!Brick was the 2011 "High Point Halter Jack of Tennessee" and "Reserve High Point In-Hand Jack" after his first and only year of showing.  He tied with his stablemate, HHAA Jealous Much, for these awards.

Paint is going to be great under harness as you can see by how beautifully he moves in the video. I had planned on keeping him and training him for my next show gelding but with the family illnessess my time has been limited. This donkey will make someone a wonderful, competitive show gelding. He has a very pleasing and willing attitude. He is easy to catch and handle. He is up to date on all vaccinations including West NIile and Rabies. His teeth were floated, wolfe teeth pulled and a bit seat put in his mouth for comfort if you should desire to train him to drive by a professional equine dentist, Scotty NeSmith, on 5/30/15. His winter coat has been bleached by the sun but in the summer time he clips off to be black and white. You should snap him up because if I ever take the time to teach him to drive I will never let this boy go!

How do I begin, where do I start, how can I explain? The people, who know me well, know that Junebug has always held a very special place in my heart. I have always loved her so much, even before I ever owned her. Then one day, Junebug was ours and all was right with the world. She foaled, Black & Blue a.k.a. Bruise, in 2008, who we have retained in our herd and who, by the way, we consider to be the finest jack on our farm. We chose to breed her to Napoleon this time knowing that the elegance from both parents would only produce a masterpiece. We were not wrong!!

As we watched this little guy being born all we saw was white, and more white, and very few spots. As he dried it was evident that his few tyger spots had been delicately placed to perfection. He has dark spots around his eyes with dark eyeliner (guyliner!) all the way around both eyes, three tear drop tyger spots on his left shoulder, on his mid section, back of legs, and ears.  All of his spots have deep halos around each one which means his spots will never change. When he was completely dry his coat resembled lofty clouds floating in the clear blue sky. He stood there with a presence of beauty rarely seen in a new born jack….and he weighed 31 lbs. standing 22.¼" and built like a tank!!! If he had arm muscles I’m sure he would have flexed them to all the other donkeys as if to say, “JEALOUS MUCH?” He is a one of a kind boy!

2011 Tennessee Donkey ASSociation High Point Halter Jack 2011 Tennessee Donkey ASSociation's Reserve High Point In-Hand Jack!

Jealous Much was the 2011 "High Point Halter Jack of Tennessee", "Reserve High Point Spotted Color" and "Reserve High Point In-Hand Jack" after his first and only year of showing!  He tied for the halter and the in-hand award with his stablemate, HHAA Heza Brick House.

Thank you to Dena Wilson who handled Jealous Much during his photo session and made these fantastic photos possible!

We have decided to keep Jealous Much and geld him as he is a half brother to our other herd sire and we do not need to duplicate those bloodlines. Look for him in the show ring in 2016!! We do not really want to part with Jealous Much but we have too many geldings to show them all and we will consider selling him to the right home.

Born out in the paddock in the only blind spot right under the outside cam after we were exhausted from being up for two nights watching for another jennet to foal. Since we 'just' missed his birth we appropriately named him Just Jack. He is the most gorgeous gray you have ever seen with very dark points and an intermediate muzzle. JJ already has an admiror that has fallen in love with him from just watching him play on the barn cam. She is coming to see him on Tuesday to make sure he is the perfect donkey for her!

Smitten's first foal and he's a dandy. We feel sure that he will shed off to be a dark spot when he is mature. You can part his hair now and see the dark coat underneath. Cahoots is a little over at the knees at this time but he is improving daily. His mom was the same when she was born and she straightened right up. He is perfect in every other way.
