Sky is to be sold as a gelding along with All Jacked Up (Ollie) who was born last year or Spiked Punch (Spike) who was born last month. Both are to be castrated at our expense and we will keep both at no extra charge until the castration is completed and healed. Whatever two you choose they will be ready to go to their new home at Christmas. We will keep them here at no additonal charge to you.
Sky is very friendly with a great personality just like his half brothers. It was so hot the day we took his outside photos that we did not get any action shots. Just too hot to ask them to run.

Spike appears to be a true black with no cross but we will kmow for sure when we take photos and videos out in the sunlight.
Spike is heavy-boned with correct conformation and we believe he would make a great performance donkey when mature. He has a very friendly and lively personality and he has no fears.
He will be up to date on de-worming, hoof trims and vaccinations. He will be given Prestige 5+ West Nile which also protects against Eastern/Western Enchepalitis, Rhino, Influenza, West Nile and Tetanus. He will have his first shot and his booster of the same three weeks later. So he will not need another vaccination until the following year. He will also be given a separate vaccination to protect him from Rabies, as well, He will be microchipped and registered in the Miniature Donkey Registry.

This is Rosie's third foal (third jennet) and she took to motherhood again for the third time like a duck takes to water. She is the greatest mom and we are so proud of her. I was indisposed with a knee replacement when Cherry was born so I was unable to take close up birth videos and baby photos/videos. The photos we have of Cherry are just after we body clipped her at four months of age. She will turn back to her bright red color in about three weeks and we may take her photos over again. Cherry will make her showing debut when she turns six months of age in October at the South Carolina State Fair. A big 'THANK YOU!' to Savannah Ames for coming up with the perfect name for Cherry. We love it since she is the second foal and second jennet out of three, so far, for Southern Asspitality's outstanding Champion Jack, Farmstead's Cotton Top Mounts.
Breathern Ramblin' Rose has been hand bred to Southern Asspitality's fantastic dark red jack, Farmstead's Cotton Top Mounts, for a foal due March 27th, 2025. We were very excited to have his second foal born at Half Ass Acres. Rose began 'bagging up' on 3/11/25.
Update: Rosie foaled a dark cherry red jennet on 4/15/25 @ 5:12 pm. She was 21½" and 24.4 lbs at one day of age.. We named her HHAA Cherry on Top. Photos and videos posted on the 2025 newborn page.
Update: Punch foaled a black jack on 6/12/25 @ 12:53 am.
We named him Spiked Punch. His birth height was 23¼" and his birth weight was 30.2 lbs. Spike was three weeks late but he was worth the wait. He's for sale!
HHAA Kiss the Sky was born on 7/1 3 / 25 @ 2:23am. He was 23.8 lbs and 21" tall at birth. He's for sale!
Our 2025 Foaling Season is over as our red jennets were ultrasounded by our vet to be open. We will try to breed them again for foals due in early spring of 2027.
