We have 12 active brood jennets that we breed approximately every other year. We have 2 young jennets that will not be bred until they are, at least, four years of age so that they are not expected to raise foals of their own until they are mature at five years of age or older. If other breeders followed this practice we could possibly keep the donkey market from falling and our donkeys happier and healthier. As these young jennets are added to our breeding program we will be offering some of our other jennets for sale to keep our herd at a manageable number. We want to always be able to give each of our donkeys the individual attention that they crave.

We just purchased the last of Dee Schroeder's fantastic herd as she was retiring and this little beauty was born shortly after arriving here. She is very correct and heavy boned. Missy is now being fitted for showing along with her best friend, Cinder, by Savannah Ames at Southern Asspitality Miniature Donkey Farm in Wartrace, Tennessee. My health told me that my serious showing days are over. Savannah will show them to their full potential I have no doubt.

Photos and videos above were taken of Cinder straight out of the pasture in her summer unclipped coat on June 4th, 2026. Cinder was born while our great friend, Carla Cortasi, was visiting from England.  We were so hoping Rosie would wait until Carla was here before foaling and she did not let us down. Cinder is now being fitted for showing along with her best friend, Missy, by Savannah Ames at Southern Asspitality Miniature Donkey Farm in Wartrace, Tennessee. My health told me that my serious showing days are over. Savannah will show them to their full potential I have no doubt.
